  • Aye @Leadbetter i was here, thought there was a lot more, im from Xaverian so we pretty much led the protest, i can be seen quite clearly at about 1:18, im holding a cardboard sign saying, Tory put the N into cuts :P , i remember at this point the xavs students had been knocked back a bit in the protest coz all the MMU students ran in at the front when the joined, took me a good few minutes to get to the front again :)

  • @ankartos Great stuff .. there's another one on Tuesday should be a good one.

  • what camera did you use to film this?

  • @SinSeerMc 5DMk2

  • Yeah, I did think there seemed to be way more than 3000 people there. It really sucks that London got most of the coverage.

  • @th3wordsmith London always goes mental ... thats what the press wants.

  • @xMollyBabesx And even if you go to University, get your fancy degree, don't count on there being a job for you at the end of it! I graduated three years ago with a 2.1 degree in History (which I was TOLD was a valuable subject to have), I have had various jobs since then but not one of them to advance me up the career ladder... There are simply no career jobs for somebody like me out there! It's all IT, sales and science. So I'm stuck doing minimum wage cleaning jobs. Sucks...

  • no dicks..no butts

  • @TigerMilitia

I don't know where you get your statistics from but most of my friends get EMA not none of them spend it on booze, drugs and cigs.

  • i just find it disgraceful that going to univercity is no longer about how intelligent somebody is, its about how much money they have. i had high aspirations in life but it seems i'll never succeed as i am 'too poor' - this is discrimination! i will be there all next week peacefully protesting for our rights

  • Sould've nuked them.

  • @TigerMilitia

    That's a different debate. ;)

  • @dynomoman

I'm sorry for your daughter and i commend you for the work you have done bringing her up.

Most students do spend their EMA on booze, drugs and cigs. i'd say about 2/3 in 10 use it properly the others rely on their parents. I was a student.

I'm not rich nowhere near the sort, i come from a working class family who are struggling more than most who have died, sweated and toiled away for fuck all when our government leaves us stranded and would rather support some ethnic invader.

  • @TigerMilitia My Daughter is disabled with learning difficulties and cerebral palsy. She is at college and relies on her EMA. NO employer will take her on part time, god we have tried to find her a job. EMA is her life line.

It's insulting to see you think everyone on EMA spends money on drugs and booze. I guess you must be one of the twats from a rich family with these half witted comments. Grow up.
