Industrial solar is not 'green' do not be fooled. Public land is being given away by the fed to corporations. It was your land, US citizens BUT now it belongs to Corporations. Wilderness habitat/land is being trashed -What a disaster.

the area is NOT going to be completely scraped of its vegetation, they are going to do whatever it takes to accomidate the desert life. The impact that this type of power process is going to help preserve resources and prevent building of other wasteful means of power. Please dont think that Brightsource and other folks are not interested in treading soft while building cuz they are. I respect your concerns and i hope everyone comes to a median of agreement and compinsation.

Thanks for this fabulous video. We had the great chance to be down at the site already in February 2010. I have some fabulous photographs of Ivanpah Valley. We stayed for three days counted turtle burrows with Mr. Steve Tabor with the activist group-"Desert Survivors".

Just an absolutely fantastic video.
I am really sorry I couldn't hang around after climbing the sacred metamorphic hill on 9/14. I saw a couple of cars parked but wasn't sure who they were, I did notice security driving up and down the road and the BrightSource biologists out and about.
Folks, watch this video please with an open mind and heart.
