  • funny how it sounds like someone is flushing a toilet at times, wtf! interesting to see a 2009 view on twitter to where it is now.

  • Dude. The audio sucked on that. Contents fine. But audio suuuucked.

  • Cool vid.

    What I gathered from it:

    - Alex Bogursky has 3000 followers

    - Twitter is exciting and new (since 2006)

    - doesn't "know yet how twitter will evolve"

    - Twitter is scary but conversation is a "good thing"

Thanks for all this valuable insight.

  • ~I love you STILL Alex, but you do talk a bit off bob now and then, but we'll let you off - as you do rule :)

    AB.

  • You really do have to experiment with the different mediums to even begin to understand them. At first I really didn't get twitter at all. Now I am beginning to realize its potential. I see it as the Table of Contents, Glossary and Index for your different social networking efforts.

  • Interesting topic, there are a lot of people in the ad business discussing this at the moment. There is a really interesting chasm opening up that we've noticed, a chasm between the marketing departments understanding of the channel (let's face it, the engineers know more about social media than the CMO) and the agencies willingness to promote it (they do better financially with TV commercials, and haven't yet figured out consistent scale with social). Social does not equal viral - its an issue.
