I think Toskala is gone at the end of next season cuz i believe Pogge needs one more season in the AHL then maybe he'll be a starter or might be a back up

True, but he made 35 saves in the gold medal game, shutting out the Russians. He was also tournament MVP, something that no one else on that dominant Team Canada club could take home besides him.

He's gonna be our future. I wouldn't be surprised if we trade Toskala between now and the start of next season and give Pogge the #1 position. And he's a hungry Canadian kid too, so he'll truly understand the signifigance of being the #1 guy in Toronto.

Nah man it's not the round we drafted them in that makes me think that it's that i've seen both of them play Rask is a better goalie and is more likely to become the better goalie. Pogge did have a strong WJC run but you think about it this was a team canada that dominated every team they played

Maybe you say that because we drafted Rask in the first round and we drafted Pogge in the third round, but it still remains to be seen who's better. Don't forget that we stole Pogge, and who would have thought that a 3rd rounder would take home a gold medal at the world juniors. He was also WHL goalie of the year and MVP.

As a resident on Saint John, NB I am sorry to see Dido, along with many other good players, the team has played way below expectations. Seeing Chris D. in the NHL is not going to happen soon, he did play great in the Junior tournament but his play and work ethic in games that I have seen needs to improve and be much more consistent, don't be in a hurry to see him in a Leafs uniform, he needs alot of work before being rushed to the NHL.

Sure things are Iggi, Nash, Thornton, and Crosby. Spez and Heats(Although if they dont i will be suprised... kinda), Luongo, Broduer(who starts?) who else?

Chris DiDomenico is a little small...if he fills out I could see him in a Marlies uni for sure at the start of next year. If he plays well, he could get a place in Toronto. And, Drummondville...jeez, they are already a great team now they have DiDo. They have a great chance at a Mem Cup.
