READ THE DESCRIPTION FIRST!!
I'm getting too many stupid comments.

Song: Interstate Love Song
Artist: Stone Temple Pilots

I got this song free from the Pepsi Rock Band promotion, and it was rated moderately difficult on the drums, so that's the only reason I got it. It's really not that difficult at all, in fact, it is very under-charted on the snare drum at many points.

I changed the camera angle for this video (and the next few), I thought the old angle didn't really show well what I was doing on the drums. From this angle you can see the drums better. Do you like the new view better?

You may notice that audio is different. This is because I have altered the pitch to avoid copyright infringement with WMG.

Also, I've readjusted my drums a bit again, mostly I've made changes with the cymbals, it's probably not as noticeable, due to the fact that I changed the camera angle. I readjusted the height of my green and blue cymbals, so I don't have to reach as far.

I also have Twitter now. Occasionally I post good scores so add me if you have it. http://twitter.com/snouserman

My IONS are set up fairly similar to that of a real drum set. I now currently use two different types of electronic cymbals. All three Ion cymbals I've had eventually broke. I use all cymbals as often as I can. Sometimes it's hard to tell whither I should it the pad or the cymbal, but I typically can tell which is which.

My Hi-Hat cymbal is a 10" TC Series Pintech cymbal.

My Crash cymbal is a 12" CY-8 Roland Cymbal.

My Ride cymbal is a 16" TC Series Pintech cymbal.

I use a Destroyer Pedal, and it gives me no double hits, and is very durable. If you have the money to spare, and are a Rock Band enthusiast; I would highly recommend it.

I also now have double bass. I don't really use it too much on Rock Band, except for rapid difficult bass notes, other than that, I use double bass mostly on GH: Metallica and Smash Hits.

The song at the beginning is "Shady Lane" by Pavement.

I have too many friends, and I will not be accepting friend invites any more.

  • Maybe you would know this, my computer has this virus/trojan that puts an error message up after you click on any program and I can't use the internet upload vids or anything!!!

  • Well, I'd recommend backing up your files, and reformatting if you know how. If not, try googling Spy-Bot Search and Destroy. That program might help you with your problem.

  • Well, I can't use internet so I can't get spy-bot and besides I can't even click on any programs or anything.

  • Try downloading the program on another computer, and putting the setup file on a flash drive or something. Also, make sure the infected computer isn't connected to the internet, because hackers could have open access to your data.

  • does the roland cy8 work well as a crash? I've heard it drops notes a lot on the ion kit.

  • It has worked flawless for me.

  • @facepunch5000 That's probably because Little Black Backpack is an RBN song. RBN authors are advised consistently against ghost notes, but HMX still puts them in in their charts.

I do know that RB3 has an option to allow hi-hat pedals, though I still have no idea what it does.

  • @GregorioXII Poor wording on my part. Charted, yes. But an open hi-hat is charted as a different pad, as there is no hi-hat pedal. Ghost strikes are NOT charted. Listen to little black backpack by stroke 9, there are ghost strikes all over the place and they are not charted in the game.

  • @facepunch5000 What? Have you even played Rock Band before? Ghost hits and open hi hats are charted regularly! This chart was probably made before they started doing it to every other song, but your comment still doesn't make any sense.

  • sounds like you bounced this video out in a lower bit rate then you recorded at lol!! good work though dude

  • @MetroConverter

how can you chart ghost strikes and open hi hats in RB? you can't so the mapping is pretty good

  • well I guess if the hacker wants to look at my rock band/ guitar hero vids I would be flattered, because I have nothing but that on it. hahahah
