the performance was great inspite of her age... awesome.

The sound quality on the first recording was significantly better... and if you go back and listen to the way she drove her voice, each surge greater than the one before... it was amazing.

This song? So - so. But it may not be Boyle's fault. The song had less emotional punch and the sound quality wasn't nearly as good.

A very shaky start, the high notes were a bit off, but she pulled it together to finish up with. I do think the first song she sang, I dreamed a dream, was better than this one, but maybe that's just because I wasn't expecting it.

Understandable nerves at the beginning, but she really then she really nailed it. I can't begin to imagine the pressure she was under with all the publicity she has gotten.
