  • Thanks for the review! I just seen it and am interested in this for my SMART also as another commentor mentioned, but I have no idea where to buy this, you mentioned Illinios, can you be more specific? Thanks in advance!

  • @andonios718 If you google 'ultra gauge' you'll see the website where the manufacturer sells these

  • Cool device, but man their rebate process is such a hassle. I'm pretty sure I'll never see my rebate check.

  • @kenta978: you aren't kidding, I didn't even bother trying. But supposedly they do honor them?

  • Chromal, thanks for the review, I bought one tonight. Thank you for the thoughtful review and all your experiences with it.

  • @WildGinseng: I hope it works out well for you. I still use mine daily, at the moment, it's in my 1996 Saab 900 SE.

  • Thanks Chromal! I did find the companies web site last night and ordered one. Supposedly they were on back order and just started shipping again on Jan 7, 2012, so I found this in perfect time, any earlier and I would have had to wait anyway. I agree with you about he $9 rebate, why bother? LOL

You're saving enough already over other products out there.

    Thanks!

  • OK, I just realized you mentioned eBay, great, Thanks! I'll go search there now.

  • Nice review, but definitely not better than the CGII. Have you ever actually owned one? I have both.

  • @ididnotgetabetterid The new Ultra Gauge EM supports metric: km per litre and L/100km.

  • i've had the SG2 in my smart for about 3 years, love it, i instantly gained 15-20% in increased economy just seeing how the car actually "operated", but just heard about the UG 2 days ago, like how it displays 6 things at once over the SG 4 things and it's a bit smaller, lending itself to more mounting positions (especially in a smart, space is at a premium) thanks!
