The Nobel people were just happy that the eight years of Bush-ism was over. No more "Hey, this guy supports terrorists and has secret weapons of mass destruction! I don't have any real proof, but let's invade anyway!"
They should've given the peace prize to all us Americans who decided to not vote for McCain in 2008. It was either Obama or the guy that joked about bombing Iran and had no problem with stationing troops in Iraq for decades. Neither choice was perfect, but we had to choose.
