O trabalho de um engenheiro civil é composto por projectos de: Térmica, acústica, ventilação, água sanitária, águas residuais, águas pluviais, estruturas de betão armado, gestão, planeamento, projecto geotécnico, reabilitação, análise sísmica, projectos de vias de comunicação (estradas).
