Palisades, Day 2

This video shows scenes from the second day of a two day trip by horseback between Palisades and Victor, Idaho, on August 3rd and 4th. This is one leg of a 1.400 mile trip that Ramsie Rue is taking from Colorado to the Pacific Ocean. She has Lola the border collie with her. Ramsie is riding one mustang and using the other to pack. Both mustangs were born on the high plains of Colorado. She was accompanied by Sarah Hilary on this leg. Sarah is the videographer.

I used to come up here to the upper lake back in the early 60's when Glenn Park had his ranch. Back then the tourist trade went to the hole and just passed through here. I spent many nights on the Palisades creek trail, just loved that country and still do. All the old frontier family's have sold out to rich city people looking for hide away from the BS. Can't blame them. I knew some of the folks who settled this area. Good LDS folks.
