An important presentation by Prof. Harvey! I'm an urban-dwelling, anti-capitalist, public sector labour activist, Harvey's reference to geographical working class struggles (political and economic) are useful. Unions need to move past our narrow, economic & self-centered concerns. The movements we do support are usually just token efforts, not genuine long-term support. Most unions are still invested in capitalism, thinking it can be reformed for all classes.
