  • @intel2you

    Hi,

What information do you need? I do not have the technical documentation. I can not give you the dimensions, because they simply do not have.

What I can tell you is: I'm usign GOTO system taken from EQ-6 mount, rate is the same, 705:1. For more help I need to know what is your workshop looks like :) You know that lot of different tools You need to build this.

  • Very nice rig! Homemade mount? It sure doesn't look off the shelf.

  • @6scoper Thank you. A real homemade mount. 2 years I worked on it and still being tested.

  • IS the telescope yours? And have u tested it on planets :D? to see how well it tracks?

  • @Edsan91

All setup is mine. Still in testing, it is a telescope for galaxies and nebulaes, and track is on quite high level.

Soon I will publish some photos from this setup.

  • nice im buy my 16" here soon and this is what i want to do with is u got pic of the build prosses and a list of parts? are u useing a meade or celestron controler? is it goto or just simple tracking? or is it only push a botton to move ? please let me know i am vary interested

  • Thats the way to go! James Keeley insisted on a large reflector for Mount Wilson, and thats how Visto Slipher photographed external galaxys. Hubble compiled data from three spectrum photographers to come to the conclusion that external nebula were galaxies.

  • @hasspol Awesome! :O that would be great! I can wait to see them!
