i cant remember if i said this before on a different video, but you upper back loses rigidity during the first pull (putting yourself at a disadvantage in the transfer and subsequently the second pull)

You need to work on snatch balance and overhead squats. That will pay off after 4 weeks or so.

figured out what our problem is, our starting position back angle is too horizontal, needs to be angled up more

No, it's fine. Open up the book with all the bar paths, look at Alexeev and Zhabotinsky. My problem in that second one was not keeping my head high.
