Hey Ana, you have to be very quiet and still and move slowly around them, they are built to be scared because in nature they are hunted by predators like hawks and other large birds. When they see something large (like us humans) move toward them it scares them terribly. It's just how they are, it is their instinct to be ready to fly away quickly if something threatens. Don't worry just go slow and easy and the more time you spend with them the more they will come to love you!
