Super-8 film re-staged by Bill Reinhardt from Ric Young's original play 'Tolerance' at Storefront Theatre in Portland, Oregon 1978. A slightly over-the-top characterization of Sarah Bernhardt.

  • Leigh is alive and well and very creative! Check out her music and artwork here on YT at 'Lurainpenny' channel.

  • try looking under Lurain Penny or Aza Leigh Cody. She lives in Las Vegas.

  • I was an impressionable elleven year old when I met Leigh, I was enthralled with her, and this brilliant performance reminds me why. Thanks for the memories. Paul Wrench

  • The last time I saw Leigh, she was living in New York City-- In the mid 1980s. David Celsi and I went to see her perform a One-Woman-Show, at a supper club in Manhattan. Haven't seen her since. I miss Ric Young, not a week goes by without my thinking of him--and his Beautiful creations. He once made a party dress for my mother in 15 minutes, out of a single sheet of gold mylar. She looked spectacular, and the dress was divine. Thanks for posting-- It's just like time travel. Caitlin Maynard

  • Whatever happened to Leigh? She was so amazing, and perhaps never more so than in this marvleous performance.

  • Thanks so much. I loved Leigh's performances. Incredible!

  • This is a timeless piece of Portland cultural history. Long live Rick Young and Storefornt's legacy!
