Ace-O-Clubs Motor Generator

Brushless DC pulse motor using a large 12 inch diameter Rodin coil to drive a 1 inch diameter neodymium magnet rotor. Shown running under load while powering a 6 watt bulb and charging up some capacitors. Features a single diode charger that works very well for charging capacitors or batteries. The circuit uses a Hall sensor as a trigger to a transistor signal inverter, which it turn pulses the Power MOSFET transistor. Plan to scale it up for a higher source voltage and more power out. The coil and Mosfet can handle a lot more.

Typed in neo mag motor and got here! Would this uint trickle charge a 48vdc battery bank for a EV Car ?

nitedude, The charger is a single diode but works well. I've charged big caps, and a good sized 12V lead-acid battery

at varying rates. The charger could be improved even more I think and should work with 48V batteries also.

This setup is pretty much just a Bedini

pulse motor with a Rodin coil, but you can use a regular bifilar coil also.
