I think this is one of the greatest speeches i have ever seen...Herb took a bunch of young college kids and made them feel that this game is worth everything they worked for. He inspired those kids to forget the outside world and beleive in themselves while saying that oppurtunities rarely come around...he gave them the confidence to beleive they could defeat anyone..and they in fact were the greatest hockey team in the world...brings me tears when i see them walking out of the tunnel =(

Mike Eruzione, Paul Henderson...Heroes Both! Canada in '72 and USA in '80. Both were EPIC moments for Western Ice Hockey. As a pee wee hoeckey player at the time of the 80's and gorwing up in a hockey household I knew both names :)

My father and I watched the Canada games when i was five and all I knew was the russians had to beaten and I cheered for the Canadians too...but to see my country do this as well and in the Olympics as a kid was the greatest moment ever in sports for me :)
