  • i was at this concert in tupelo in october,1957 what a great show... i can even be seen at 1.13 and 1.14 of the video.. i was 14 years old.. my mother took 3 of us, but it was really her that wanted to see the king.....

  • lol the girls freaking out... that's me :D

  • @cincylover420. Elvis was king of rock & roll before anyone knew what a Chuck Berry was.

  • Where did you find this? Is there a website? Good findings by the way!

  • @Vasilouxxx That's right I have the whole show on audio.Elvis even sang swing down sweet chariot.

  • March 25 1961 (Saturday), Bloch Arena, Honolulu, Hawaii, Charity concert. RCA tape master matrix KPA5 9544. First released in 1980 on the 8 LP Elvis Aron Presley boxed set, re released as a 4 CD set in 1997 (CD1) :-)

  • And to think that it was Priscilla who had to do the begging.

  • @british123able The rumors are that his manager, Col. Parker wouldn't let him go outside of the US on tour (except for three stops in Canada), because he wanted to travel with him, but couldn't because he wasn't a US citizen. Elvis however, many times wanted to go on tour worldwide.

  • amazing, but why he never come to the uk? bob marley came. no excuse he had years to come
