A much smaller field than Conduit faced in the 08' Breeders Cup Turf. But quality, proven horses against him in 2009. Dar Re Mi and Spanish Moon both G1 winners in Europe. Presious Passion and Telling both G1 winners on turf in America, and even though Red Rocks raced primarily in Ireland and the UK throughout his career, he had also came to America and won at G1 twice himself. Having won the 07' Breeders Cup Turf and the 08' Man O' War Stakes.

Yup. Now go tell him that. He wouldn't care even if he could understand you. Thats how he likes to run, and no one can change that. Hes like a backwards Silky Sullivan, incredibly fast, but at a cost. Presious Passion is an incredibly talented horse, no matter how he runs.

This race, even in defeat, was probably as good as Presious Passion has ever, or will ever look in his career. But he's what I call a 50-50 horse. Lately, not even that. This ridiculous strategy of racing out to a 15 or 20 length lead, and then fading in the stretch is why I will never bet dollar one on this horse. He recently tried this same strategy at Meydan in the Dubai Sheema Classic, and every horse in the field blew by him, because he was COOKED. He'll never beat class horses like that.

Conduit and Goldikova back 2 back wins, since Zark and STS got together these should also ;)
