not really insulting buddha, the song writer didn't intend to, but because in buddhism you don't talk about love, it is not the way of buddhism, having sex is prohibited in buddhism, and in the worse case praying for buddha to give you someone you love, this leads to some people to think this song is about insulting buddha.

In the 6 Realms of Buddhism, this person did not let go the Desire Realms, and his stubbornness had led him to beg Buddha for the person he love. He ain't doing the right thing, same goes to all mankind.
A desire will lead people doing all sort of funny things. So there is no right or wrong in this video. It is just a projection on stubbornness of all mankind.
