3rd mvt. 6:30 - This wonderful piece by Beethoven was played by Lorenzo in the semifinals of the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), our country's premiere music competition. Lady fortune was kind to us, Enzo made the cut for the finals to be held late November. Like all parents of piano competitors, it was again nerve-wracking time .. my, ... the stresses parents must endure when their children are being scrutinized and judged.
Unfortunately, it was the last minute decision of the jurors that only 2 movements of the sonatas of choice can be played due to extreme time constraints. Enzo chose to play the 2nd and 3rd mvt. of "Apassionata".
THANKS for listening and watching.
Incredible! Bravo! Every year for you is at least two years, Enzo.

@SamuelConcepcion No hay el primero movimiento por que el concurso necessito solo dos movimientos.

Your progress is stunning. Very musical and beautiful! Can I make a couple of small suggestions? In the second movement theme, you might want to make sure that the dotted rhythms in the left hand really sound like dotted rhythms and not triplets. Also the second mvt. has an arch-like structure, with a version of the original theme returning at the end. You might want to slow down a little before this "recap." Good luck in the finals, and congratulations!
