kerry king shreds,i always liked his solos over jeff hanneman's whose solos just sound random as hell.i can see why dave mustaine wanted to steal kerry king away from slayer.

I am personally not a fan of King's leads, mostly because he tends to be sloppy more often than not. However, the speed of his solos (as well as Hanneman's), as well as the fact that they have no central key, does NOT detract from them.

1. Speed CAN make a good solo, as long as its played with decent accuracy. I shouldn't have to name famous examples of this.

2. Atonality works perfectly with Slayer's music. The solos/leads NEED to be atonal to create the somewhat evil atmosphere in the music.
