r u serious buddy. we dissect them to learn about that specific animal. WE don't say,"Hey these kids arent learning, lets have a dissection class. That will make them have fun in class" U can't have an old frog thats been rotting away for months. besides, THE FRENCH EAT FRGGIN SNAILS AND FROGS! WESTERNS WOULD EAT RATTLE SNAKE. Good for him! I'm skipping anatomy (I hope) for my senior year of high school. I'm just not comfortable dissecting something that was once alive. And in our anatomy classes, they dissect cats. I mean, I had a cat as a pet... I don't want to cut one open. It's just not right.

Can't we just look at a diagram of an open animal? We have all the information we need on zoology and anatomy, we don't really need anymore, especially when the only real purpose is to freak the kids out and have them go through that 'fun' of dissection. It's not necessary.

This reminds me of high school, my bio teacher failed me because i refused to disect, i told her " failing me isnt going to change my mind, it isnt my fault, you're a old fashioned, cruel person". Funny thing is the principal made her change my final grade.
