RISD Commencement | Students Dance to Jai Ho!

Members of RISD's 2010 graduating class ended the ceremony with a dance mimicking the end sequence of "Slumdog Millionaire".

This was so much fun! My daughter was in this graduating class - very proud of everyone! Never been to a commencement ceremony like this - leave it to the artists & designers to shake things up!

My sis graduated in this class. She said she wanted to do this but she couldn't come to practice. Still, it was really awesome. I hope they do this next year. Keep kicking ass RISD!

I was there as a 2010 grad mom... so my child has graduated... and I am going to RISD graduation next year! Who cares if I don't know any graduates? I am NOT missing this party! Jai Ho!!

I'm a proud 2010 dad and after 4 years, I think finally 'get' RISD. This was an incredible celebration. I've never been to, or even heard of, a graduation ceremony like this. Besides the dance at the end, there was a live band playing pomp and circumstance to a JAZZ beat, a girl with antlers on her cap, and a kid dressed as a wrestler who took down the University President. It was Awesome!.

A great graduation! Loved the dance at the end as it was a great way to top off a really fun and different type of graduation than I've ever been to.

I was also there in person, and the graduation was fantastic. Every graduation should be as celebratory as RISD's.

Yeah this was awesome, I only got part of it on tape though. My favorite part was when the Luchador (I forget who it was) tackled John Maeda when he got his diploma

this was the best graduation ceremony that i have ever attended... risd is ausome..go Jose ...
