well stated, whats happening is we are clearing citys of the insurgents, then iraqi government forces us out and says they can handle it from here, all that happens is the insurgents move right back in when we leave, thats why bush is putting in 20,000 more troops, to take and hold the cities, im one of them

The only reason we're lookin bad right now is that this pussy congress of ours won't let us use our military to its full potential. We are forced to fight with our hands tied behind our backs instead of going in full force and kicking ass. As we all know, the politics of war get in the way of letting true soldiers do what they need to do. Alphautubeone, you just thank your god the United States Govt. hasn't taken its big dog off its leash... the day we let loose... you'll shit yourself.

no one wants to show the humane side of the U.S. i remember when i was in Naser Wasalaam outside of Fallujah, we gave the kids candy and the aduts water all the time. the Iraqis there were friendly to us and we were to them. if insugents were in the U.S they would be killing our kids. and they think they are holy. Semper Fi Marines, OORAH!

I've spent 6 years in the corps and 15 in politics as a congressional staffer. The liberal left does not support our troops. Under democratic controlled congresses, our military budget has been cut, money slashed from the intelligence community and less appropriations for new weapons research. Their counter military agenda weakens our military and lowers America's defenses. God bless our military - Semper Fi!

problem is .. too worried about being cool and popping your guns to understand why you are there and that you must leave - one day.. and the enemy knows it.. btw. .92% of the insurgents are iraqi.. not foreign fighters..where are the foreigners?..the coalition forces.. you think you're doing ok.. but if you get this point you'll understand why leaving sooner is better than later.
