On Monday, December 17th, newtown, CT was ready to heal. The residents, tired of the media storm that descended upon their town, brought their children to the newtown youth academy, a 90,000 square foot indoor sports complex, in an effort to restore normalcy to their lives. There, they could be kids again, free from the distractions of camera crews and from the tragedy that struck on Friday. And while cameras weren't allowed in, Amy K. Nelson got a rare look inside the youth academy to see first hand a town beginning to heal.
