Aerosoft Airbus X VS. Wilco A320 full comparison, review and comments!

This video will show comparisons between the Aerosoft Airbus X A320/A321 and Wilcopub/Feelthere Airbus Series Vol. 1 A320. I have compared the operations of the MCDU, interior cockpit/virtual cockpit/vc, exterior, and landing of both aircrafts. Video was brightened up with WMM because YouTube's media player shows FSX videos at night to be extremely dark. Watch in 720p full screen! Leave a comment and ask any questions or requests for more comparison videos. I plan to do Overland Airbus and Boeing series VS. Default FSX A321 and Boeings.

My thoughts on the Airbus X A320:
Likes - The overall detail of the aircraft is well thought out and designed, I especially liked the engine sounds. Easy to perform smooth ILS landings. The MCDU can set up different states of the aircraft, for example "taxi state". It can also open cargo doors, cabin doors, etc.
Dislikes - The MCDU does not have SIDS and STARS. Wilco's is way better.

My thoughts on the Wilco A320:
Likes - The MCDU can be programmed easily and the aircraft will follow what I program. It has a list of SIDS and STARS I can choose from. I like the information displays more, like the PFD and the GPWS.
Dislikes - Crashes FSX more than the Airbus X. Sometimes for long flights when I fast forward 16x the AP gets confused about the flight plan and start flying in circles. Wilco Airbus Series does not work with default airport jetways.

I saw something in the video i must disagree with, the wilco aircraft has a perfectly operating automatic landing system. When an approach is executed correctly the plane will land properly inclusive of the flare which is induced at about 20ft. All the pilot has to is retard the power to idle at this point and the plane will land smoothely. Just last week my wilco a320 landed perfectly at KMCO at a rate of -250 fpm.

@crazymorganable no i don't sorry, i saw the news on their website. they have pictures of the updated mcdu with sids and stars. it looked pretty cool. i would provide a link in the description but i saw it half a year ago.

At all, I've the Wilco Airbus and i considered to ?change to the aerosoft Airbus x.

I have both the Wilco and AirbusX and I prefer the Wilco even though the Airbus X looks a lot better because I dont have TrackIR so it is difficult to use a 3D cockpit for everything. There's no 2D panels with the AirbusX.

Very informative and useful. I'll stay w/ Wilco although the graphics are not as good and landing is a bit more challenging....

I vote for the Wilco. Realism is a huge factor for me. The new Airbus X will blow the Wilco out of the water.
