You are the nicest person I never met. In 3 years of looking @ youtube... NO ONE ! but no one has the audio you got here... interesting sound quality.
About water... what about a cistern & capturing snow & rain? I wonder if it is feasible? 30,ooo.for a well is an awfull lot. Adobe wall to get/hold heat... good idea.

I love to see the creativity that goes into building with Papercrete. It's also nice to see how different mixtures can produce stronger blocks. I also like the innovative way that an Adobe wall be used to absorb heat, and release heat at various times depending on the season.

looks great and likke your having a blast
it really reminds me of basically an igloo, they used to sell forms to make snow blocks for children to play with
this reminds me of childhood castle making dreamy ness
why not just make it look like a castle ???

I am not only plugging away. I am making progress and having fun. I will probably never have electricity but I have lived without it in the past and have not found it to be too bad. I have a new project but have not posted any videos to youtube about it. I guess I should do that but I am not too good with the computer and avoid contact with it. Anyway you can follow progress on the new project. google papercretebyjudith

I know of several permitted buildings in New Mexico, including 2 houses. The building I am working on now is not permitted but is allowed because it is under 200 square feet and is an outbuilding.

I went without a well for 2 years then I went in on a well with 2 other people. It is about 600 feet deep. and cost about $30,000. All the other wells nearby are at about 320 feet but ours is deeper, don't know why. This is just my personal opinion but I don't think you should rule out living in the west because of fear of water problems. In fact the lot next to me which shares my well is for sale if you're interested. We have a nice little community of people up there.
