Prisoner Cell Block H: Lizzie Birdsworth actually ends her story not with a whimper, but in a fitting and appropriate way, with great strength and optimism. With Lizzie paroled to live with her long-lost son Arthur and his family, Arthur promises Lizzie that her friends may visit whenever they like; only good times ahead.
@proseinc123 You can't have watched all of Prisoner in 9 days! 692 episodes, approx 50 minutes each = about 24 days worth of continuous viewing. That is not including time for sleep, eating, toilet, etc.

Shelia Florence, who played Lizzie Birdsworth on Prisoner:Cell Block H wrote me a letter in her own hand in July of 1980. I live on the American East Coast. I was truly suprised and grateful she took the time to do this. May she Rest In Peace.

In the last year of her life she made a well-regarded film, A WOMAN'S TALE. She won many awards for the role and is excellent in it. Track it down if you can. You won't be disappointed. Especially if you're a fan.
