Keady made a great impact on how I think of globalization. Thanks

@SU2340 it's not just nike who is making products in china, and sending it back into the usa. look at everything you buy, even your clothes. They are all made in china. unfortunetly it's the way of the world. I agree that the wages and lifestyle of a chinese factory sweatshop slave are horrible, but If they did not work for nike it would be somewherer else for less money. It is not just nike. Do research and look at Apple, general electric, and all the toys you buy for your children.

I shamefully have quite a few Nike products. After seeing this, I will NEVER EVER buy a Nike product again.

Saying how much he made or how much weight he lost is a fact, yes.
But saying other stuff brings in morality and ethics which can and are different from other people.
What is great to one person can be miserable for others.
Life is tough. People make choices.
Why can't you realize that?

@slatchem2016 You are so dumb. Theres a lot of factual evidence supporting his statement. You are in denial there chief. And what about me calling you an idiot makes me a hippie.?
-
Are you literally that stupid that you can't look at what was said and think, well, actually, everything he(as in me) said is true?
Smarter than me, you're just a freaking joke like all these other hippies.
-
@slatchem2016 you are an idiot

@slatchem2016 are u a Nike supporter? just asking. but don't you feel like Nike should at least be doing more to help? and not just Nike but other companies that own sweatshops and are working in horrible conditions? and what about taking away their passports and givingthem a contract written in another language they couldn't understand but were forced to sign if they wanted work?
-
saying something doesn't mean you're right.
1) He said he was forced to resign-which is wrong. They gave him a choice and he chose to resign.
2) "Having your human dignity undermined" is a statement based on a feeling not a fact that can be proven.
3) Forced overtime and they get paid for it? No one is forced to work there. His statements don't make sense. If they don't want to work, then they will leave.
No, it doesn't seem like Nike is taking advantage of them.
if more people acted like Jim this world would be a better place, & i liked the fact that he was willing to take a stand against capitalist fascists and helped expose these people, even if it meant the loss of his job. Good work

Nike fucking ruined Chuck Taylors. They're the greatest shoes ever, now they're owned by Nike and made by 9 year old Indonesians.
