So, you wouldn't throw your shoe at Bush because you consider your shoes are worth more than him. Well, he threw his shoes at Bush because he thinks they are worth more than Bush. It's a matter of context. For you, it doesn't make sense, for him, it made perfect sense. Again, maybe for you, shaking hands with your left hand, especially if your right hand is wet or dirty at the moment, might seem pretty normal. For us here at Mexico, offering your left hand is seen as a rude gesture...

I've been following your videos for quite a while now, I even have your "Left Wing" and "Right Wing" opinions among my favorites. Now, I think we have a little problem of understanding here. The shoe throw doesn't make sense to you simply because you and the Iraqui guy come from different cultures.
Here in Mexico, for example, refusing an invitation to dinner/eat/lunch by the master of the house is considered extremely rude, seriously.

The shoes around the powerlines is something that can be understood only after successfully doing so. If youve never tried it, I recommend trying it. Only THEN will you know.
