the best thing to do if ya want to start heading cattle is to NOT learn it on youtube! go to a live clinic! they are all over the country! I could pick this video apart! you shouldn't be trying to teach people things that you have not completely mastered yourself!not trying to be an ass or anything but ya need some lessons yourself! first you need to pull that elbow back in your swing..your losing the power of your tip! your feed is sloppy! and the follow-thru doesn't go passed your coils!

lookin good, try to watch that left hand bud, when pullin the slack if you jerk it out like u are, you are going to rate your horse to the left to early. dont know how far along you are but i have always believe if you practice on the dummy wrong, you will do it int he show and not think about it.. good video though!

There's no set way of throwing a head loop. So I figure as long as somebody's got there basics down, there good to go. That being said, kid made a good video

This is a great way of learning. I just don´t like that left hand move so much, it should always be up-front and with the least amount of movement...As the say: "You rope with ur right hand but you win with ur left hand". GB.

@costa5801 Nop, you aim at the horn nearest you...Think about it, when you throw ur rope.....it becomes the letter "P"
