Plant a tree

Don't wait for earth day to plant a tree. Do it before Ramadan. You will continue to earn good deeds and the tree will also help the environment. You can plant anything. Plant flowers for the bees. Then you will be rewarded every time the bee gets nectar.

What if you plant a tree and hikers get shade from it. What if animals use it to build a nest. You will get so many rewards from Allah for your act of kindness.

Even if you plant a tree and a logging company chops it down to make wood or paper. You will get rewarded for the benefit that people get from the paper and wood. Imagine if a famous scholar uses paper made from your tree to write a book. Imagine if a house is built using the wood from your tree.

The Prophet said, "If any Muslim plants something and a human or an animal eats from it, he will be rewarded as if he had given that much in charity."
Bukhari 8:73:41

...The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for acts of kindness towards animals?" He said, "Yes, there is a reward for kindness to any person or animal."
Bukhari 8:73:38
The Prophet said, "He who is not merciful to others, will not be treated mercifully.

and also the prophet (PBUH) said in a hadith that if judgment day is on, and you have a plant on your hands, you should plant it

and we all know that everything is finished on that day, though the prophet teaches us to build the earth and that's also another meaning of living a positive life.
