MTH DCS Program Demo part 1

Here is my video of me experimenting with the DCS program feature. There is some down time here and there but I can say that I was constantly pushing buttons while I made this.

How do you make the ditch lights flash on the Diesel engines without actually blowing the horn? Thanks!

@Wontonwabledoo On your DCS remote, you can make them flash all the time, have them run normal (flash when you blow the horn, or turn them off entirely. If you don't have a DCS remote, I don't know of another way.

so if i have dc, can i just get the dcs commander and it will work? will it record and play back as well or do i need something else?

twoquestions how big is your board and what are the curve radius's?

In board size, I'm assuming you're asking how big my layout was in this video. It was 8'x16'. I was using 0-72 curves. My current one in more recent videos is 14'x20' with 0-81 and 0-72 curves.

I haven't attempted to try to "max out" the TIU since my layout hasn't begun yet. As of now, I would say it can handle 4 sets of tracks, but the combined total amount of amps should not exceed 8 amps or else you risk smoking it

how many tracks can a single TIU support? because i'm planning on buying the DCS soon. BTW nice video
