Well, I never liked the Sabbat. I always thought playing out The Camarilla was a way to spoil the game. Playing with Camarilla Characters was far enought. Anarchs and Elders were tools very eficients to play a good chronible, add the freaks from the sabbat was a very bad a idea.

By the way, I´m spanish. And I must say that the names of the members of clan Lasombra were horrible!!! Even such a name as Lucita never existed in medieval Spain. Maybe Lucia... ¿But Lucita? ¿Or Medina? Come on!!!

Tío, Medina quizá no como nombre, pero es un apellido la mar de común. En cuanto a Lucita, sí, imagino que quisieron darle un toque "latino", pero no les terminó de salir. Y sobre el Sabbath, si Mark Rein-Hagen levantara la cabeza... ellos se la cortarían con Obtenebracíon y Potencia.

Ventrue? All the game is based on the concept of the Ventrue, They are the pillars of the game.

Toreador are the romantic view of vampires. Like the shown on Vampire Cronichles from Anne Rice. I thin they are an important part of the game background.

Giovanni are another strange clan like Ravnos, Tremre and others that i don't think that their concept fits well on the traditional view of vampirism, but particullary the Giovanni i think are a good clan.

Ravnos theme - the Ravnos are a very independent group of tricksters and rogues. They have a unique Discipline (power) of illusions, illusions that at the top of their power becomes real. An imaginary fire will cause burns, an imaginary knife will cut.

@WandererofLorac Sabbat vampires require a mature mind to play. It helped in my chronicles to have everyone use the same Path of Enlightenment and have someone experienced and knowledgable play as the Pack Ductus/Priest to keep them all in line.

One example was having all of them take responsibility for their actions; for instance, the Ductus/Priest emphasised on the Sabbat policy of non-disclosure and made every Sabbat clean up every "mess" (eg: dead victims, witnesses, etc) they made.

Hm. Been reading through a few comments, and I have this to say.

I don't think one can judge all the clans based on the view of the player. One has to take into account that all clans have their own ends to fulfill. None are better than the others.

I, myself, prefer playing the Malkavian. Not for comic relief - Malkavians should rarely, if ever, be used for comic relief. No, I like playing Malkavians because they are unpredictable and dangerous, and it always kept the other players on edge.
