how do i make a portfolio and how would you know where to send the pictures?

@xobige08 Hey! You don't really need a port to get started. All you need is a head shot, full body shot, and a profile shot. They don't even need to be professional. Just make sure they have good lighting and are clear. You then goggle agencies in your area. Go to their website and see what they require to be submitted to their agency....some want you to set an appointment and come by, some want you to mail a picture in, some require a picture via email.

@star11super I would say just research them all. They don't even have to be in your area. Check for bad remarks and such. After you have a hand full start sending them your pictures. Make sure that you go to their website to see how to go about everything. Some of them take pictures in the mail....some take pictures via email.....and some have open calls. But make sure you follow the direction on the website. The last thing you want to do is look like you can't follow directions.

@ulili885917 I actually have never heard of them. Make sure you Google them tho. Remember what I said. Any agencies that want all this up front money is probably not legit. You should only have to pay for marketing materials.

@crazylina95 The best thing to do is to build a Model Mayhem account and look under the casting section. Or you can just contact some of the photographers on there. There are lots that are always looking for TF shoots. That is where he gets to use you in his port and you get to use the pictures. So it's free to you. There are lots of new and seasoned photographers looking to shoot as long as you have something to bring to their ports. I hope that answered your question.
