  • This lady cannot do math. 290,000 yen is about 2200pounds.

Also the Key money is no longer needed for most apartments.

You can get a small apartment in Tokyo for 40,000-70,000 yen.

I`m not saying its easy for the unemployed but this program is using out of context examples to sell their show. Maybe they want poor people in other countries to feel better about their lot in life.

  • Japan must apologize and pay compensation to Korea and China !!!

  • Shouldn't the government step in and help out?

  • I love to dog a japanese beaver.

  • Life is Hard ~~

  • @imgordonfreeman 5000 homeless not unemployed..

  • @imgordonfreeman there are more people that's just an estimate provided by japan.

  • well 8£ for all night internet in a place like that seems ok...but it aint a home

  • @Maxpound what if you have never had a job and your 35

  • I'm Japanese.

The media in Tokyo controls impressions of Tokyo, concealing the actual condition like this.
