Porsche 911 GT2 RS - Driven to Extreme

The GT2 RS is the fastest and most powerful road-going sports car ever built in the history of Porsche, just 500 examples went on sale in September 2010 and sold-out around the world within weeks.

One lucky UK enthusiast however, will get the chance to drive this 620hp 911 model at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone as part of a competition launched online today (2 December 2010). The prize winner will be invited to the Porsche Experience Centre to take part in a Porsche Sport Driving School course. Here the winner will drive various models from the Porsche range, whilst being taught driving skills from our chief driving consultant. The finale of this course will be the opportunity to drive in the 911 GT2 RS.

The closing date for entry to the competition is 31 January 2011 and one entrant will be selected at random from all the correct answers to win this ultimate experience.

To show that it in fact is possible to keep control of this fearsome widowmaker, even when the back does step out.

I trust you remember the reputation of the GT2 to just be impossible to control if you overstep the limit even slightly.

Have the guys at Porsche ever thought of making a Porsche GT2 RS SuperSport?? That would be an amazingly fast car. If they ever make it, I think it's gong to be a lot alike a Porsche Carrera GT.

and Still Porsche have room for improvement in the same designed Porsche launched in 1997-98 labelled as 996. They just changed lights, spoilers, side skirts, Engine, tires, seats, interiors, but body design was same until the new 991 generation came. This is called Porsche Engineering, because every new year Porsche 911 seems to be fresh with having old shape, but with new technological advancements. Well done Porsche Team...
