The Southeastern Plein Air Art Festival is an annual Gadsden Museum of Art and History event. It includes a group of invited professional and amateur artists from the region and around the world who come to Gadsden, Alabama for a week to enjoy the sights, paint the views, meet the people, eat the food, and relax in one of the most beautiful cities in the state. In addition, this year's festival is quickly becoming a tourist attraction for locals and folks from out of the area as well, who are getting a chance to watch and learn from artists who are painting outside every day this week.
