On my recent trip over to SeaWorld, I got a construction update of Manta, the new B&M flying coaster being installed at SWO.

The ride itself is nearing completion, with only the brake run and final "splashdown swoop" to be completed.
On my trip, I was able to witness half of the "A-frame" support going up for the brake run, and also noticed plenty of more supports standing by.

I also got a few clips of Kraken (the park's B&M floorless coaster), and a fountain show occurring in the lagoon.

When I went for a field trip on Thursday, they were already finished building it and they were testing out the track and the train was running along the track...it does;nt look too fast but it looks like a hell of alot of fun

No way, I was there on a field trip the next day!

I got to see the track complete and everything (which I've seen a million times before), but unfortunately I didn't get to see it test. Apparently the construction walls are down for the "thrill" part of the ride, not the splashdown area yet.

Yep, it seems that most of the schools picked the worst possible day to go on the trip. It's going to be a HUGE media day. Expect most of the local stations and theme park groups to be there.
