Imagineer Systems' product specialist Mary Poplin, created this tutorial to show how mocha Pro and Adobe Photoshop can be used to remove objects from scenes when there is no clean footage.

mocha Pro's planar tracking and remove tools provide unique and time-saving alternatives to traditional vfx clone and paint techniques.

mocha Pro is available as an upgrade to all owners of mocha AE that ships free with After Effects CS4-CS5.5

  • Is this technic working for mocha AE?

  • You can track patches in with mocha AE and After Effects. The tracking and Photoshop process will be exactly the same. The difference is that mocha Pro has "illumination" model rendering that analyzes the luminance and will do auto-color correction when rendering the "clean plate patch".
