Friends and Fans Say Goodbye to Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has passed away at 50. The King of Pop suffered cardiac arrest yesterday afternoon and never recovered, according to his father, Joe Jackson. He leaves behind three children and an unparalleled entertainment legacy. (via E! Online)

Madonna released a statement about Michael, saying, "I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever." His ex-wife, Lisa Marie Presley said, "I am so very sad and confused, with every emotion possible ... Brooke Shields, Quincy Jones, Corey Feldman, Liza Minelli and more have also expressed their grief at the untimely loss of their friend. (D Listed)

Farrah Fawcett passed away at 62 years old. The "Charlie's Angels" actress had been battling cancer for three years. She is survived by her partner, Ryan O'Neal, and their son, Redmond. (via PopEater)
