@TheSancretor i've just watched this. This can happen in real life and ye if the guy is sweet and didnt ask for it its a shame but is by the by, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.We can't help who we fall in love with & EVERYTHING in this life happen for a reason & he will find the right someone for him.These characters were meant to be together. It doesnt instill anything but follow your heart. Its not always right but we must always be happy this life is far too short!

@TheSancretor Right,that's a scary tought for eveyone.It could have been the other way round or maybe she leaves her new lover too on their wedding...but since this movie is basically a fairy tale, it's suggesting that are "once in a lifetime" persons for everyone.

@posztoka I guess. But really that was added in so that everyone could have a happy ending. I just feel bad that he was in love, and she loved him, but just a simple loss of nerve and she leaves him.

@TheSancretor But it also suggested that he will be able to find someone right for him who is a friend and cares (talking with the little girl suggests that there are women out there like that) not to mention the last scene...

@deannaagustin I'm not against Lesbians, but I thought that the film would make the two more sympathetic. But her husband was a really sweet guy and he didn't deserve what happened to him. I have no problem with homosexuality, but the message that, love at first sight can override every other no matter how peaceful and good your previous relationships are, is just not a good message.

The fact that we discuss about this movie is somehow proof that this scenario is well done.
