The natural pools on the zambia side of the victoria falls are only accessible during the low season, and are an experience you will never forget! there are two pools, the devils pool (shown) and the much more relaxing angels pool for the timid types!

@Catchafirefly hm.. not exaclty correct. the chances are not the same because only 1000 (dunno but lets say so) might visit the falls while 2.000.000 text and drive. so the percentage of would be 12/1000 and for the falls 5/1000. or anything like that. I'm pretty sure the people who text and drive are way more.

Victoria Falls claims 1 to 5 lives a year, yet people call you stupid, reckless, and "throwing your life away" for swimming there.

Eventually that rock ledge at the edge of the falls will erode and collapse and anyone in the pool is going to be swept over the falls. That will be really cool to see.

You see, while you may consider swimming in a spectacular pool as treating your life as if it is nothing.
I consider sitting at home in front of a computer or watching TV all day as treating your life as if it is nothing.
A disregard for safety, or a life of missed opportunities? the difference is your perception.
