You are right. Dervashes in Maulana Roomi's Khanqah whirl in commemoration of Maulana's whirling that Maulana once did impulsively while he was drenched in true love of Allah (Ishq e Haqiqi). In fact now these dances have become symbolic and cultural rather than religious, you can see some foreigners visiting the khanqah also performing this activity.

this is truly not sufism, it is a new fitna what the wqest call 'UNIVERSAL sUFISM' WHERE THEY ACT LIKE MUSLIMS DURINF A ZIKR EVEN THEN, THEY ARE LIBERAL IN THEIR PRATCISE AS SEEN IN THE VIDEO ABOVE, THIS IS TRULY NOT inaccordance to SUfi teachings and defo not Islam....
