I will asap, but that may be a while, unless I can borrow a decent video recorder.
Most likely, it will be of her wrestling with my ear, or a pencil and her happy hut on my bed. Maybe a shower scene, but I'm not sure... her voice is kinda quiet, and it might be hard to hear her over the shower.

My Suzu, a 6 month old GC Conure, is the same way about running water, especialy showers. although her mimicing skills themselves are fairly poor, she -is- adding about 2 new... call them sound files, maybe? :) ... to her vocabulary every time I take a shower. She is very attentive and curious while standing on the shower curtain rod. she is going to be one heck of a talker for a GC.

I like your naming them sound files, very appropriate. My guys first human speech file captures were "baby" "sweet baby" and "you big baby" You need to post some video of Suzu!

I'm bringing home my first cheekie in about two weeks. any tips on how to get him used to the shower?

My green cheeks were raised by children and used to being held close. All I did was to hold them close to my chest and move into the shower. The birds felt secure and since I was getting wet too seemed to feel that it was alright. Enjoy your bird!

If you don't wet them down at least every other day, they will use a water dish or jump in the sink while you are doing the dishes. Have fun with your GC and give it lots of love. All my birds wear bird diapers from Avian Fashions so I can take them with me when I go out.
