This is exactly what Britain needs at the moment. In a contracting economy, government investment will ensure that not only will the recession be shorter in duration but the economy will emerge stronger afterwards. Labour is pursuing the best policies which are in the nation's best interests, in contrast to the Tories whose response to the downturn is to simply do nothing.
