When a toddler spends Saturday morning channel surfing cartoons, Mighty Mouse is catapulted into a variety of animated TV shows. First aired in 1988 as part of the Ralph Bakshi produced series "Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures".

  • Eternally, timelessly relevant. :)

  • one saturday morning! im glad i was a 90's kid. saturday morning tv was what made saturdays special. they cant be beat by the crap on tv now.

  • 6:54: That's a nice touch, using a shrink take, lifted from the Terrytoons that Mighty Mouse originated from.

  • Anyone know the episode where the Mighty Mouse dance with his girlfriend? was a musical episode ... I think it was a song ( be my baby)

  • @007ifyable Yo, do you have the little AMVs that they sometimes made at the end of the episodes. i think it was made of classic Mighty Mouse toons form the 60s to the music video "Why Do Fools Fall in Love?"

  • The Rocky and Hoodwinkle's part was absolute genious.

I mean, I never expected Rocky to be a Rocky Balboa parody. It also made fun well of anime.

  • Under-rated stuff back in the late 80s.

  • Wow, Ralph Bakshi and his team sure knew how to make fun of Hanna-Barbera and the other limited animation cartoons of the 1960s didn't they?

This reminds me of the Animaniacs episode "Back in Style," which was written by Tom Minton (whom also co-wrote this episode.)

  • I have been looking for this since it was canceled, and no one knew what I was talking about! I gave up until just now. Thanks for posting it!!
