The power of Canada compels you! Be sure to check out this film, if you can pardon their French. Even if you're not a fan of foreign films, take it on faith that this one entertains!
A man hired to update a Passion Play finds himself REALLY identifying with the lead character as controversy arises around the content and his recent actions. Thanks to Michael Karl Richie for recommending this film.
One of my favourite movies ever. The subtitles really don't do it justice. A must-see. Seriously.

Jesus of Montreal was the winner of the Seattle Film Festival of 1990 or 91. Must of seen it 20 times. Includes the best Hamlet since my father delivered it to me as a child. The subtitles do not completely nail the dialogue. All of the actors have multiple roles.
