Just after installing the ThunderMax I lowered the rpm to 800 and warmed up the engine. Prior to testing the bike on the road; it runs GREAT!

  • Greetings Wake,

I love the Speedo/Tach combo. Been drooling over that little item since I bought my `11 FXDC in January. Did you install yourself? If so anything out of the ordinary jump out at you?

Great looking and sounding bike mate, I love it! Keep the shiny side up.

Hi friend, thanks for dropping in. FYI, the installation was straight forward, no hassle at all; just take one out and install the other one. Harley did a good job in making the mod totally compatible.

One thing I want to point out and it might be just one out of a million, but my speedometer on the new clock stopped working after a thousand miles and HD did not accept it as a warranty claim....

  • Thanks for the reply Wake, when I get some extra cash I will look into that awesome gauge cluster.

    I'm sure you understand... lol.

    Peace
